Part‑Time Responsible Individual (RI) – Children's EBD Home, Bradford
Day Rate: £350 – £550 per day.
We are looking for an experienced Responsible Individual (RI) to oversee the opening and operation of a brand‑new, 3‑bedded children’s home specialising in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Bradford. This pivotal role will work closely with the Director to launch and guide the home, ensuring the service is effective, safe and compliant with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Formal Registration: Formally register as the RI for the new home with Ofsted.
- Oversee Operations: Ensure the new service is fit for purpose and ready for launch.
- Ensure Compliance: Guarantee the home consistently meets all Ofsted guidelines and standards.
- Support Management: Provide guidance to the Registered Manager on recruitment and safeguarding.
- Implement Policies: Develop and implement essential policies and procedures for the home.
- Line‑Manage: Provide direct line management to the Registered Manager.
- Contract: Part‑time, self‑employed contract requiring approximately one day per week. Immediate start available.
- Compensation: Day rate between £350 – £550.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Responsible Individual is essential.
- Qualification: NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
- Other: Valid driving licence required.
