An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead the launch of a new Family Assessment Centre in Doncaster. This role offers the chance to build and shape a vital service from the ground up, supporting families and making a real difference in the community. The successful candidate will oversee the final stages of service setup, manage the Ofsted registration process, and recruit a dedicated team to deliver high-quality assessments. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the final stages of service setup to ensure a smooth launch in March 2026.
  • Collaborate with the Responsible Individual (RI) to manage the Ofsted registration process.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a new team of support workers and assessors.
  • Oversee the delivery of evidence-based parenting assessments, ensuring families are supported to stay together where safe.
  • Establish policies and procedures that promote a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and social care standards.
  • Develop strong relationships with local authorities and community partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in residential management or family assessment services.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a new team.
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment and adapt quickly.
