Job Title: Registered Children's Homes Manager

Salary: £53,000 - £62,000 per annum

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Children's Homes Manager to lead a residential care home in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
This role involves overseeing the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care for children and young people aged 10-17 years, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. You will be part of a committed team working to create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising a team to deliver exceptional care and support to children and young people
- Ensuring the home operates in line with OFSTED regulations and standards
- Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Managing staff recruitment, training, and performance reviews
- Building strong relationships with external professionals, families, and local authorities
- Monitoring and maintaining the quality of care through audits and reviews
- Leading inspections and striving for a GOOD or OUTSTANDING OFSTED rating
Requirements & Qualifications
- Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it)
- Experience working with looked after children and young people in a residential setting
- Proven experience managing and supervising staff
- Knowledge of OFSTED registration and compliance requirements
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams, including external professionals and families
- Confidence to lead successful OFSTED inspections
