Job Title: Science Teacher

Location: Blackwood, Gwent, Wales

Salary: Β£73.00 per day minimum

Employment Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday 830am-330pm

Job Description:

Our client, a forward-thinking secondary school near Blackwood, Gwent, is seeking a qualified and motivated Science Teacher to join their successful department. This role offers the opportunity to teach across KS3 and KS4 in a modern, well-equipped environment, inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the ability range in Science at KS3 and KS4.
  • Creating a stimulating and creative curriculum that promotes curiosity and understanding.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the Science department and supporting school-wide initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong classroom management skills with high expectations for achievement and behaviour.li>
  • A passion for education and student development.
