The predicted salary is between 22950 - 28050 £ per year.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives (12 weeks temporary work which can lead to a permanent position after 12 weeks).

The School is an independent 39-week specialist day provision for boys and girls, aged between 5 and 11 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We also work with a range of education settings across Wirral.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and craft activities
  • Assisting children with reading and literacy tasks
  • Preparing classrooms for lessons and activities
  • Working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, including children with additional needs
  • Creating displays of children's work
  • Supporting teachers in managing classroom behaviour
  • Helping children on school trips and during group activities
  • Listening to children read, telling stories, and providing extra support as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 months' experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or similar settings
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
