Are you looking to make a difference as a Supply Teaching Assistant in Schools in Pontypridd? We have a fantastic opportunity to work within a few schools that are focused on growing their team. The schools are located in the Pontypridd area and are looking for teaching assistants to work with ALN children across the school. Due to the needs of these pupils, previous experience working with Autism or additional learning needs is preferred, but not essential. This is for full-time and part-time roles, working between Monday to Friday and possibly on a long-term basis for the right candidate.
As a Welsh Government framework staffing provider, we will give you the opportunity to work in Primary, Secondary and SEN schools as well as numerous privately run education provisions across Wales.
Overview
- Minimum Pay: £88.92 with no payroll charges
- Location: Pontypridd
- Hours: Between Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
The role: What you'll be doing as a Teaching Assistant
- Supporting and supervising activities within the classroom
- Helping learners stay on task and understand lessons
- Work in partnership with other members of staff
- Working with learners in small groups and/or working 1:1 with learners with additional needs
- Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
- Assist learners at break time with their lunch where needed
- Engage learners in the classroom and out of classroom activities
- Work in accordance to the schools behaviour management policies
