This role as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Aberdare involves supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 learners across a range of classroom settings, including one-to-one support, small groups, and whole classes. The successful candidate will assist with lesson delivery, prepare classrooms, and maintain effective behaviour management to ensure a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support classroom activities for learners in Key Stage 3 and 4
- Assist with lesson delivery based on teacher plans
- Maintain classroom control and manage behaviour effectively
- Be flexible and adaptable to daily requirements
- Work in accordance with behaviour management policies and procedures
- Minimum of 3 months experience working with children, ideally with SEMH, SEBD, or EBD
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC); support available for registration

- References covering the last two years, with no gaps in employment
- Right to work in the UK
