A leading specialist provider is seeking an experienced and dedicated Behaviour Specialist Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Service in Aberdare. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support learners with SEMH, SEBD, EBD, and challenging behaviour within a dynamic educational environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with vulnerable learners and a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise learners with SEMH, SEBD, EBD, or challenging behaviour
- Assist learners at the start and end of the school day
- Support staff in preparing classrooms for lessons
- Deliver a variety of subjects at both primary and secondary levels
- Engage learners through classroom and out‑of‑classroom activities
- Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of teaching experience, preferably within a pupil referral setting
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – support available to assist with registration
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
