Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a classroom of learners in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and deliver a variety of work set by absent teachers
  • Maintain classroom control and discipline
  • Engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities

Requirements

  • At least 3 months experience working with children, with experience in SEMH, SEBD, and EBD being highly advantageous
  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – support available to assist with registration
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
