Registered Veterinary Nurses – Join Our Founding Team in Nine Elms
What would you love to have a say in at a new veterinary practice?
VetPulse is a new, independently owned small animal practice opening on Wilcox Road in Nine Elms, London. We’re looking for two RVNs to join our founding team and help shape how things work from the start.
Your ideas will be welcome, from nursing routines and patient care to how the team shares ideas, learns and supports one another. We want to build a collaborative team where people listen, pitch in and feel comfortable suggesting a better way of doing things.
You’ll work with Adomas, who is leading the set-up and will manage the practice. He began his career in veterinary nursing in Lithuania, and the people behind VetPulse have experience running two successful clinics there. VetPulse is a separate UK venture, and they want the founding team to help decide what works best here as the clinic grows.
What could your role look like?
That’s something we’d like to discuss with you. If you’re happiest in theatre, prefer nurse consults or enjoy a mix of everything, tell us. We want nurses to use their strengths and develop their interests while working together to give patients great care.
You’ll also have a say in how the rota develops. The full-time working week is 40 hours across a planned shift rota, with no overnight work or on-call rota. We plan to start with weekday opening, then discuss shift patterns with the team as the practice and its opening hours grow. We’re also happy to discuss part-time hours or a pattern that fits around other commitments, so please tell us what would work for you.
The new 142 sqm clinic will have separate dog and cat waiting areas and consulting rooms, a spacious prep room, an in-house IDEXX laboratory, digital X-ray and fluoroscopy, ultrasound, dental equipment and modern anaesthesia and monitoring systems. One consulting room has a separate exit for families who need a little more privacy at a difficult time.
Teamwork matters
We’re looking for RVNs who are good at what they do and good to work with. That means sharing ideas, listening to colleagues and pitching in when someone needs a hand. We want to build a team where people feel comfortable speaking up, asking for help and helping one another succeed—a culture we can all be proud of.
You don’t need to arrive with a plan for the whole practice. We’d just love you to be part of building it with us.
What’s on offer?
- Salary £32,000–£38,000 as a guide. This isn’t a fixed limit: we’ll take your experience, skills and salary expectations into account when discussing the package.
- Support for further qualifications and three days to attend courses or seminars
- 80% discount on services for your own pets and 25% discount on products
- The chance to help shape additional benefits around what matters to the team
If you’d like to join a practice from the beginning, bring your ideas and help create somewhere you’re proud to work, we’d love to hear from you.
