International Technical Advisor-Role Summary
Our International Team guarantee that we become and remain the preferred supplier to all our distributors and take precedence over other product lines.
The responsibility of the International Technical Advisor (ITA) is to be the companys technical face in all European markets
International Technical Advisor β Main Duties
- Design and implement a solid strategy for the international technical department in Europe
- Provide regular technical training and support to all distributors
- Provide technical support regarding positioning against competitor products
- Implement an international KOL strategy
- Participate at key international veterinary shows and congresses
- Co-ordinate and implement international technical marketing activities
- Organise Regional Training Meetings and participate in Product Champion and World Distributor Meetings
- Ensure efficient management reporting
- Participate positively in the VetPlus management team and actively help to develop the company culture
Personal Attributes
- At least 5 years experience as a vet in practice involving both small animal and preferably equine work
- Good understanding of the veterinary/ medical/ nutritional market and its current challenges
- Sound grasp of VetPlus aims and achievements
- Excellent IT knowledge- especially Microsoft Excel and Power point
- Flexibility and adaptability in changing environments, commitment to teamwork and co-operation whilst being able to operate independently and self sufficiently
- An international outlook, cultural sensitivity and high ethical values are critical to the company
- Required to live close to an International airport and also close enough to commute to Lytham HQ when you are not travelling
