We are looking for an animal nursing assistant to join our team at Minster vets and York emergency vets. The position is a 40hr working week working shifts within the hospital. You would work alongside both the day team and night team at our busy first opinion hospital based in the lovely city of York.
Responsibilities will include: Infection control, manual handling/restraint of animals, cleaning kennels, feeding and exercising of animals, cleaning and sterilising surgical equipment. Client facing roles such as reception work and admitting/discharging patients. Assisting the RVN and Veterinary Surgeon with preparing fluid therapy, assisting in theatre, some dispensary work, travelling between branches and laundry!
