Are you an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for a rewarding role within an established Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) out-of-hours team?
We're looking for our fourth Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at Beech House Veterinary Hospital on a part-time contract.

The Role
This position follows an alternating rota pattern designed to provide a healthy balance between work and life outside practice:
- Block 1: 4 nights every 21 days
- Block 2: 3 nights every 21 days
Role Details
- Hours: 7:30pm to 8:30am
- Rota: Alternating 4 nights on in 21 days and 3 nights on in 21 days
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Part-time
You'll be joining a dedicated out-of-hours team, delivering high-quality emergency and critical care to patients throughout the night. You will be supported by an experienced team, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional patient care and clinical outcomes.
About You
We're looking for a veterinary surgeon who:
- Is experienced in small animal practice, with ECC and/or out-of-hours experience desirable
- Is confident managing a varied caseload independently
- Works well as part of a collaborative team
- Has excellent communication and client care skills
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
- Holds MRCVS registration (or is eligible to register)
