We have an opportunity for a Receptionist/Animal Care Assistant to join our team at Birchwood Vets in Warrington.
The job holder will help to provide a professional, effective and organised client reception and provide assistance to the veterinary nurses in the care of our patients and general maintenance of the surgery premises.
This is a full-time role working an average of 37.5 hours per week as 7.5 hour days on a rota Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. The rota also includes working 1:4 weekends (3 hours) at either the Lymm or Holly House (Knutsford) practice.
Previous experience in providing excellent customer service is preferred, although not necessarily within the veterinary industry. Previous animal handling experience would be a distinct advantage alongside prior experience of working in a veterinary setting. Full training will be provided.
There is potential that in the future this role could lead to a Student Veterinary Nurse Apprenticeship.
