Join Our Friendly Veterinary Team
Grange Veterinary Surgery is looking for a friendly, organised, and compassionate Receptionist to join our busy small animal practice in Norton.
As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting our clinical team in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
Key duties include:
- Welcoming clients and pets to the practice
- Managing telephone enquiries and booking appointments
- Handling payments and discussing treatment costs
- Promoting our Pet Health Plan
- Processing insurance claims and general administration
- Managing emails, filing, and record keeping
- Supporting vets and nurses with administrative tasks
- Dispensing medication in line with practice procedures
- Maintaining a clean and professional reception area
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a busy environment
- Is confident discussing financial matters with clients
- Has strong communication and organisation skills
- Is comfortable using computer systems
- Remains calm and professional during emotional or challenging situations
- Is flexible and enjoys working as part of a supportive team
Working Pattern
- 28.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Saturday mornings on a rota basis

Grange Veterinary Surgery is a well-established and recently refurbished small animal practice with modern facilities including separate dog and cat wards, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental facilities, and spacious consultation rooms.
Our experienced team consists of 4 vets, 4 RVNs and 4 receptionists, creating a friendly and collaborative working environment.
