Are you a passionate RVN looking to join a welcoming team where your skills are valued and your wellbeing matters? At Willows Veterinary Centre we're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to become part of our compassionate, supportive team.
About Us:
We are a progressive small animal practice with clinics in South Shields and Boldon. Following the recent refurbishment of our Boldon branch, we're proud to offer a modern, well-equipped environment where our team can thrive and provide outstanding patient care.
Our fantastic range of facilities includes:
- Digital radiography
- Ultrasonography
- Dental radiography
- In-house laboratory
- Dedicated nurse consulting rooms
- Laparoscopic surgery
We provide emergency care during opening hours but enjoy the benefit of no out-of-hours commitments, with our patients referred to Westway Veterinary Hospital in Newcastle for overnight and emergency care. Most importantly, you'll be joining a genuinely friendly and supportive team of 4 Vets and 6 RVNs who work collaboratively, support one another, and treat every patient as if they were their own.
The Role:
- Salary: £27,500 - £29,800, depending on experience
- Based across our South Shields and Boldon branches on a rotational basis
- 40 hours per week over 4 days between 8:30am and 7:30pm
- Part-time applications considered for the right candidate
- No OOH responsibilities
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9:00am – 3:00pm)
- Relocation support available where required
About You:
We're looking for an RVN who combines strong clinical skills with a genuine passion for patient care. You'll enjoy building relationships with clients, take pride in delivering a high standard of nursing care, and thrive as part of a collaborative team. Experience in nurse consultations, inpatient care, and surgical support would be advantageous, but above all else we're looking for someone who shares our values, brings a positive attitude, and is committed to making a difference to our patients and their families every day.
