Farnham Vet Group is looking for a confident, compassionate and dedicated Senior RVN to join our friendly and highly skilled team at our Vale Branch on a Fixed Term basis for 12 months.

The Role

  • Nurse consults and patient admissions/discharges
  • Anaesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing
  • In-patient care and recovery

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered)
  • Confident with sole charge, nurse clinics and tricky anaesthetic
  • Good communication skills and a commitment to high clinical standards

Hours and Rota

  • 12m fixed term contract (maternity cover)
  • Full-time position (40 hours per week) split over 4 days - 8.30am to 7pm with 1 hour unpaid for lunch
  • 1:4 weekends based at our hospital

Salary - £35,000 per annum

Our Vale Branch

A close-knit team of 1 Vet, 1 Nurse and a Receptionist, we pride ourselves on continuity and connection. We’re busy with consults and typically carry out 1-2 operations per day, offering a varied and rewarding caseload in a friendly environment.

Here’s what our Team have to say: ‘Lovely stable branch practice with ability to run comprehensive bloods, undertake routine procedures, ultrasound and Xray. Full support of the hospital for more complex cases. Clients are very appreciative of the continuity of care we offer’.
