Tay Valley Vets is an established, purpose-built, RCVS-accredited small animal practice with a reputation for excellent patient care and a genuinely positive working environment.

  • Multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring
  • Full in-house laboratory (bloods, urinalysis and cytology)
  • Visiting specialists in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery

You will oversee clinical standards, support colleagues, and help guide the practice's future while maintaining hands-on involvement in day-to-day veterinary work.

Working Pattern

  • 1:5 OOH rota, with a day off after a weeknight on-call
  • A long weekend following a weekend on-call
  • Average of 29 hours per week on day shifts after TOIL
  • Nurses onsite 24/7 for emergency support, triage and inpatient care
  • Well-managed diary structure
  • 15-minute standard appointments
  • Longer appointments for complex cases
  • Dedicated catch-up time daily
  • Protected emergency slots
