The Farm Vets at Hampden are looking for a new vet to join them! We are a busy 8 vet and 1 qualified vet tech farm practice. Whilst mostly travelling out to animals all over Bucks, Beds, Herts, Oxon and into London, we also have a super office, support colleagues, clinical room and laboratory at Wing near Leighton Buzzard.
Our welcoming clients are varied: large commercial farms, pedigree breeders, small holders and pets. We are looking for an experienced, keen, motivated vet to become an integral part of our dynamic group. The role would suit someone with a passion for high quality client service, a love of the farm animal species and an interest in a varied caseload. Our vets are encouraged to develop their own client base and work with them proactively. The team regularly catches up for meetings, clinical discussions and social events. The practice has a forward-thinking approach to further learning and keenly supports vets developing new services or undertaking post-graduate studies.
For the right candidate, we can offer:
- Full-time - 5-day working week (we are open to part-time applicants)
- 1 in 6/7 OOH rota
- Salary - up to £60k (pro rata) commensurate with experience
