We are a two-site practice, and this role will primarily be based at our newly refurbished small animal practice at Boldon although with the possibility of some cover at our South Shields branch.

About us: Willows Veterinary Centre has recently moved to a new, purpose-built hub at Boldon Business Park. The Boldon site has 4 consult rooms, 2 theatres, prep rooms, a dental and x-ray suite as well as a quiet room. The practice has modern diagnostic facilities including digital radiography, ultrasonography, dental radiography, in-house laboratory and have recently started performing laparoscopy spays. We believe in creating a cosy family environment in order to make our clients and their pets feel comfortable and happy.

We are equipped to offer emergency care during opening hours, but there is no out-of-hours requirement with this role as our clients have access to Westway Veterinary Hospital in Newcastle for any out-of-hours situations.

More about the role: We’re looking for a motivated and confident vet, competent in neutering/lumpectomies in cats, dogs and small furries. Further development is actively encouraged, and you will be supported by our experienced team of 5 vets and 7 RVNs across both our sites.
