Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a role that offers a varied caseload, a supportive team, and excellent work-life balance? We have an exciting opportunity to join our experienced nursing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the contract for the right candidate. Based across our hospital in Kirk Sandall and branch practice in Carcroft, you'll enjoy a varied role encompassing consulting, inpatient care, theatre, preparation, and nursing support.

The Role

  • 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover)
  • Potential for a permanent role following the contract
  • Full-time: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (unpaid lunch break)

  • Working across our Kirk Sandall hospital and Carcroft branch
  • 1 in 6 Saturdays (8:00am – 12:30pm)

VetsNow provides OOH cover, meaning our inpatients remain on-site without requiring our nursing team to be on-call.

Salary: Up to £28,000 depending on experience

Located just north of Doncaster, our practice is well positioned with excellent transport links via the A1, M18 and M62.
