We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident clinician who enjoys delivering high-quality patient care, building strong client relationships, and working collaboratively within a supportive practice environment.
About the Role
As an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical and surgical care to a varied small animal caseload. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical interests while working alongside a skilled team of veterinary surgeons, RVNs, student nurses, and support staff.
The role includes:
- Consulting and case work-ups
- Routine and advanced surgery
- Diagnostic investigations
- Inpatient care and case management
- Working closely with clients to provide excellent communication and continuity of care
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues where appropriate

- Are MRCVS registered
- Have previous experience in UK small animal practice

About the Practice
We are a modern, forward-thinking veterinary clinic based on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a friendly, supportive team. Our practice prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care alongside excellent client service in a welcoming and professional environment.

- Digital X-ray and Ultrasound

We have a separate quiet room for euthanasia, with toys, treats and a sofa. A great nonclinical area for our clients to say their final goodbyes.

We are an eco-friendly practice, which is mindful of our carbon footprint and our effect on the environment. We have reusable clinical charts, a compost heap and our own herb garden for rabbits. We have set up a wildlife fund, which allows us to treat stray animals and wildlife. We have a lovely outside area to relax and soak up some sun, when we are lucky enough to have any! You can bring your dog to work with you every day! We have our own staff kennelling facilities.
