Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a Large Animal only caseload in a friendly practice? Would you like to be part of a supportive team (of over 40 vets!) where knowledge and ideas are shared, and certificates / further development is encouraged? Here at Parklands Veterinary Group, we’re looking for vets at any stage in their career to join our 8 vet Farm practice.

About Us:

Based in the historic town of Cookstown, nestled between Lough Neagh and the Sperrin Mountains, we offer small animal, farm and pig services, and we’re also a veterinary nurse training centre. Our farm team ranges from consultancy, herd health and fertility management. You would be working in a dynamic, structured team with firm career progression within a family environment. You’ll gain knowledge from our experienced team including certificate holders. Our farms range from 30 cows to 1,100 cows, with the addition of sucklers, beef finishing, sheep and Camelids. We have an in-house laboratory with excellent facilities and a full support team and lay TB testers. We will provide full support and CPD to help you achieve your goals.

The Role:

Total remuneration package ranging from £47,000 to £75,000, dependent on experience. Package includes salary, accommodation, a company van, and access to the Vet reward scheme. OOH is based on a 1 in 4 rota with TOIL given for working weekends. Certificates and CPD strongly encouraged and supported.
