We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Eastgate Vets on a 6-month fixed-term basis. Eastgate Veterinary Group serves clients across Suffolk and Norfolk, with RCVS-accredited practices in Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall and Thetford. The Role:
- 6-month FTC available on a full-time or part-time basis
- Opportunity to be based at a single branch or work across all three sites, offering variety in your caseload
- 36-hour week over 4 days (full-time), giving you a great work–life balance
- 1 in 6 Saturday mornings, with time off in lieu to ensure your downtime is protected
- Typical shifts are 8:30am – 6:30pm
- Salary - £36000 - £70 000 FTE dependent on experience
What You’ll Be Doing:
- A varied role with a balance of consulting and surgery
- Typically split between 2 days consulting and 2 days surgery, but we’re happy to tailor this to your interests
About You:
- A confident, capable vet who enjoys both consulting and surgical work
- VetGDP completed (unfortunately we are unable to support a new graduate)
- Someone who values a supportive team environment and high-quality patient care
