We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Receptionist to join our team across our busy Brisbane veterinary practices. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, loves animals and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Our reception team plays an important role in creating a positive experience for clients and their pets, while also supporting our vets and nurses throughout the day.
About the role
- Welcoming clients and their pets into the practice
- Answering and managing incoming phone calls and enquiries
- Booking and coordinating veterinary appointments
- Checking clients in and out and processing payments
- Responding to emails and general client enquiries
- Managing appointment schedules and keeping the reception area organised
- Assisting with client communication and follow-ups
- Processing invoices, payments and other administrative tasks
- Supporting our veterinary nurses, veterinarians and wider team
- Providing compassionate and professional service to clients, particularly during more difficult or emotional situations
- Helping ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently throughout the day
About you
- Friendly, approachable and confident when speaking with clients

- Reliable, punctual and willing to be part of a team

- Compassionate and understanding towards both clients and their pets
