We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Trainer to join our team at VetPartners. The Role:

Your main purpose will be to drive our positive workplace wellbeing by helping to develop and deliver mental health workshops and webinars to support and guide line managers, working alongside the Group Director of Training and Development and in collaboration with wider central colleagues. Deliver VetPartners interactive mental health workshops, which run over half to two days, covering topics such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, resilience, and mindfulness. Review and update practice resources to support and drive mental health and wellbeing and play an active role in the central wellbeing group. Formulate, implement, and evaluate workshop programmes. Build personal colleague ownership and line manager sign-posting. Remain committed to equality and diversity and adhere to VetPartners values and behaviours.

What we need from you:

  • A mental health qualification, such as Registered Mental Health Nurse, CBT (HIT) therapist, or Accredited Counsellor with 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience of delivering training or teaching effectively for at least 2 years, possibly with a qualification - Cert-Ed, Level 3 Award in Education & Training, PTTLS, CTTLS, PGCHE.
  • Experience of delivering training remotely or face-to-face and have a high standard in written communication.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Maintain professional registration and up-to-date knowledge of clinical practice, national developments in the field of mental health and wellbeing.
