Are you a Vet looking for a new job in a friendly practice where work-life balance is a priority? Here at Grange Vets, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. Grange Vets is a great place to be.

About Us:

We’re a friendly Small Animal practice in Norton, an increasingly cosmopolitan village between Leeds and Newcastle on the edge of North Yorkshire. We’re a very friendly and supportive team in beautifully extended and refurbished premises, at a well-established site. Our team consists of 5 receptionists, 6 qualified RVNs (we’re a VNTP) and 5 vets currently (one being part time) with more than 60 years combined experience in general practice. After our refurbishment in 2018, our practice has grown in size to allow for separate dog and cat wards, a much larger theatre and an increased number of consultation rooms. We are also proud to offer some fantastic equipment, including new dental kit and a modern diagnostic suite with an ultrasound scanner and digital x-ray facilities. This is an exciting time to join a growing team in a superb setting.

The Role:

We’re flexible with hours, so whether you’re looking for a full-time position (36 hours per week) or part-time hours to fit around your lifestyle, we’ve got the role for you. 1:4 Sat mornings, no other OOHs as we use a dedicated OOH provider very close to the clinic. We are keen for an applicant who has gained experience and confidence in routine ops and consultations. Salary up to £60000 dependent on experience (pro rata).

As part of the VetPartners family, we can offer the following benefits (pro rata):

  • 6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays
  • £1750 CPD Allowance per annum
  • Health Cash Plan - wide ranging contributions for health and wellbeing treatments - from dentistry to sports massage
  • RCVS Membership paid
  • Two other membership subscriptions
  • VDS cover
  • Enhanced paternity, maternity, adoption, shared parental leave and surrogacy pay
  • Discounted veterinary fees
  • My Perks – offers, discounts and cashback on shopping, travel, entertainment and much more
  • CPD/training support
  • Company sick pay
  • Career progression opportunities
