The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced vet, preferably a certificate holder, who is excited to bring their expertise to our dynamic team. The position is ideal for a vet (or vet couple) with a particular interest in small animal care, equine care, or a mixture of both, and the role can be tailored depending on your experience, skills and interests.

Responsibilities & Working Conditions

  • Full‑time position, but part‑time considered for the right candidate – feel free to discuss options.
  • Rota – 4 days per week 8AM – 6.30PM.
  • 1 weekend (either Saturday or full weekend) determined by rota in 3.
  • On call once a week with occasional additional cover for sickness or short‑notice absences.

Salary & On‑call Retainer

  • Salary is dependent on experience.
  • Small animal and equine on call Mon‑Fri = £300
  • Weekend and Bank holiday = £400
  • Equine on call only Mon‑Fri = £150
  • Equine on call only for weekends and bank holiday = £200

About Us

The practice is comprised of 9 vets, including several certificate holders, all of whom work to an extremely high standard to serve a discerning clientele. Our skilled team of 9 RVNS, 4 students (2 1st year, 2 2nd year) and 5 VCAs plus our reception and admin colleagues complete our team, all working collaboratively to ensure we provide the best possible service to owners and their pets.
