We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced vet to join our team on a part-time basis here at Park Veterinary Hospital. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for patient care and enjoys the benefits of providing all of this under one roof in our 24‑hour hospital in the “outdoor city” of Sheffield, close to the Peak District.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our close knit, dedicated team with a passion for 24‑hour care. We are a forward‑thinking first opinion, fully equipped small animal veterinary hospital that provides its own 24hr emergency care, giving you the opportunity to see your cases progress within one setting. We have an experienced team with peripatetic orthopaedic surgeons and a cardiologist, along with an experienced team of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Nurses, 4 Receptionists, placement nurses and office team. We can tailor our 8‑10 hour day shifts to be flexible with our new team member’s needs and provide up to a total of 20 hours per week, including participation in our OOH rota.

Successful Candidate

  • Passion for patient care in a 24‑hour first opinion small animal RCVS accredited hospital
  • Confident in sole charge and willing to support recently graduated vets
  • The post will require a UK driving licence
