Abbey Vets, Paisley is looking for a proactive and compassionate full-time RVN to join our dedicated and caring team. We are an RCVS accredited, well‑established, friendly, mixed practice with surgeries in Paisley and Greenock. You will be joining a supportive network of vets, nurses, ACAs and receptionists. We aim to provide excellent first opinion care to our patients, and a great service to our loyal, long‑standing clients.

Our practice facilities include the latest Karl Storz laparoscopy equipment for performing lap spays, fully equipped lab with the latest haematology, biochemistry, electrolyte and therapeutic monitoring, ultrasound scanner, digital radiography, including dental x‑ray machine, endoscope and the latest dental machine, instruments and equipment.

The Role:

  • Full‑time – 40 hours per week
  • Based at our Paisley branch
  • Permanent contract
  • No on‑call duties and 1:4 weekends
  • Salary – up to £35,000 dependent on experience (based on 40 hrs/wk)

Duties are based on a rota system consisting of:

  • Caring for both medical and surgical patients post‑op
  • Assisting vets in both theatre and prep area
  • Ordering and stock control of pharmacy
  • Caring for isolation patients
  • Lab work
