We are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy community practice on a part-time basis in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Reporting to the Clinical Director and working alongside a further SA Veterinary Surgeon and SA Graduate.

As a Vet partner’s practice, we are committed to providing excellent standards of care for our clients and pets but we also have a strong focus on our teams wellbeing and happiness within their chosen roles. Being a team, supporting each other and working together is a huge focus at Charter NUL.

The Role: There is no Sunday, bank holiday or OOH’s working so alongside your 3 days per week you will just join the 2:11 Saturday rota working 9:00-1:00. The 3 days would likely be Tuesday & Wednesday (5 hours each day) and Friday (10 hours). Your time at the practice will be split between consults and surgery, and there will be some sole-charge responsibilities. If you are or wish to be a Vet GDP advisor that would be an advantage as we recruit graduates annually within the group and it’s great to be able to support the new graduate vet talent each year.

What we can offer you:

  • An excellent salary of up to £60,000 dependent on experience (pro-rata)
  • We will reimburse your RCVS membership, and VDS cover
  • A generous CPD allowance of £1750 pro-rata (increased for a certificate holder)
  • Enhanced sick, maternity & parental leave, buy/sell holiday, and cycle to work schemes
  • Colleague discounts for your pets
  • Healthshield wellbeing programme which offers cash back on healthcare, anytime GP service, discounts on major brands and more!

If you’d like to apply for this amazing opportunity, please email your CV and a cover letter to projects@willowsvetgroup.co.uk, or if you’d like to have a chat about the role, please call Louise White on 07971 632569.
