Would you thrive in having autonomy in your veterinary work in a very well‑equipped practice 70 miles from the coast of England and 30 miles from the coast of France? Isabelle Vets on the beautiful island of Guernsey are looking for a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic team.
The Role: This position offers a great work life balance – a rota of 3 nights on with 4 nights off from 6.15pm to 8.15am, with consults from 7.00pm to 8.00pm. Plenty of down time to enjoy all Guernsey life has to offer! The role will mainly require small animal experience but if you have large animal experience we would be interested in speaking to you too. You will receive excellent support from our large happy team in our 95% companion animal practice.
About us: We are a busy, RCVS accredited, first opinion practice with our vets, including several certificate holders, all working to an extremely high standard. Our skilled team of RVNs plus our reception and admin colleagues complete our team that work collaboratively to ensure we provide the best possible service to owners and their pets. The practice is furnished with all the equipment required to investigate and treat conditions medically and surgically, in light of the geographical limitation for referral. We are looking to open a large new hospital facility in 2026/2027 so you will be joining us at an exciting time.
