About us
Willows Veterinary Centre has recently moved to a new, purpose-built hub at Boldon Business Park. The Boldon site has 4 consult rooms, 2 theatres, prep rooms, a dental and x-ray suite as well as a quiet room. The practice has modern diagnostic facilities to help treat and monitor your pets from digital radiography, ultrasonography, dental radiography, in-house laboratory and has recently started performing laparoscopy spays. We believe in creating a cosy family environment in which clients and their pets feel comfortable and happy.
We are equipped to offer emergency care during opening hours, but there is no out-of-hours requirement with this role as our clients have access to Westway Veterinary Hospital in Newcastle for any OOH situations.

We're looking for a motivated and confident vet, competent in neutering/lumpectomies in cats, dogs and small furries. Further development is actively encouraged, and you will be supported by our experienced team of 5 vets and 7 RVNs across both our sites.
- Salary – up to £65,000 dependent on experience (based on 37.5 hrs/wk)
- Full-time position – ideally 37.5 hours over 4 days, between 8:30 am – 7:00 pm (part-time options would be considered)
- 1:4 Saturdays – 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
- No OOH
