Coastway Vets – Lewes and Woodingdean branches are looking to welcome a new member to our fabulous team to work across two of our lovely branches in East Sussex. We’re a large, RCVS accredited practice boasting 5 fully equipped branch practices plus our large central Brighton hospital. We also run the region’s biggest emergency vet service. Coastway Vets has been providing outstanding care to the region’s pets for 45 years and our fantastic team of passionate professionals is dedicated to excellence in veterinary medicine.
The Role
We’re offering a full-time position (with flexible working considered) split between our Lewes and Woodingdean branches, situated only 8 miles apart. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident vet with excellent communication skills and the experience to run a branch independently. You’ll have the chance to shape and grow our client base while enjoying the backing of a larger, collaborative veterinary group. This role provides variety, autonomy and is ideal for a vet who enjoys providing a warm, personal service and building strong client relationships. Salary – up to £60,000 dependent on experience.
Your Week at a Glance
- 2–3 days at our Lewes branch – consulting and some routine operations
- 2–3 mornings at our Woodingdean branch – consulting only
- Every other Saturday morning at our Lewes branch
- 1:15 second on-call rota to support our night and weekend team
At both branches you will have sole charge and manage your own cases, offering independence but with the reassurance of a friendly wider team and support from our Brighton hospital when needed.
