The Opportunity

Wood Veterinary Group is recruiting Small Animal Veterinary Surgeons to join its recently redeveloped RCVS-accredited Small Animal Hospital and Emergency Services Clinic in Gloucester. Following completion of a major hospital refurbishment in November 2024, the practice offers modern facilities, advanced diagnostics, and the support of a large multidisciplinary veterinary team.

    • 4 operating theatres
    • Dedicated dental suite

    • In-house laboratory with dedicated technicians
  • Support from certificate holders and vets with varied clinical interests
  • Dedicated on-site OOH team providing 24-hour patient care
  • Excellent progression opportunities within a hospital environment
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Full-time and part-time applications welcomed
  • Open to all experience levels

  • Primarily based at the main hospital, with potential branch consulting
  • Time off in lieu provided
