Holly House is a friendly and forward-thinking practice, based within a thriving market town that has a real community feel. We have a close-knit team who continuously work together to provide high standards of clinical care and deliver excellent levels of customer service. We are now looking to recruit an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team on a full-time basis.

The role could involve the opportunity to nurture and support recent graduates, so if you have your Vet GDP training this would be beneficial. We enjoy a good work-life balance; full-time means working 37.5 hours per week, which includes the 1:4 Saturday annual accrual, so your Monday – Friday week will be circa 35.5 hours. Saturdays will either be worked at our GP practice or at our Beech House Veterinary centre in Warrington (currently working through RCVS Hospital status). You will also be part of a 1:12 Sunday and bank holiday rota based at Beech House; these hours will be given as TOIL.

You will split your time between consults and surgery, and there will also be some minimal sole-charge responsibilities. There is also the opportunity to expand your ultrasound skills.

In return we can offer the following benefits:

  • An excellent salary up to £60,938 for an experienced Vet
  • CPD allowance of £1750 (this would increase for a certificate holder)
  • Enhanced sick, parental leave
  • Buy/Sell Holiday
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • In-house referral hospital and OOH’s team
