Our long-serving team includes 15 vets, a dedicated nursing team, experienced reception colleagues and a supportive administrative team who are all proud of the care they provide and the culture they work in.

The Role

As Clinical Director, you will have overall responsibility for the clinical and strategic leadership of the practice. Working closely alongside the practice leadership team, you will help shape the future of Ash Tree Vets by maintaining excellent clinical standards and outstanding client services, supporting team development and ensuring the continued success of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

This is an autonomous role with the opportunity to make a real impact. You will play a key part in mentoring and developing your team, supporting both clinical and leadership growth and acting as a champion for our culture and values. You will also be a guardian of our reputation as a practice known not only for excellent care, but for being a great place to work.

You will be supported locally by a Practice Manager, experienced Lead Vet team, Head Nurse and Head Receptionist, with additional support from your Business Development Director and a knowledgeable central support team. The clinical team is highly experienced and skilled. There is a strong culture of case discussion, collaboration and mentoring embedded throughout the team. We are keen to find someone who is motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic about shaping the future of the practice through a whole‑team approach.
