We are looking for an RVN to join our experienced team at our hospital in Kirk Sandall and our branch in Carcroft. The role would include a mixture of consulting, hospital, prep and operating shifts.

A little bit about us: You’ll be working alongside a fantastic team including certificate holders in surgery, medicine, diagnostic imaging and anaesthesia & analgesia. We are a two site, nurse training practice with laparoscopic equipment, dental X-ray and vets performing laparoscopy and orthopaedic surgery so our caseload is varied, and we aim to offer the highest standard of care. We are a hospital which we’re very proud of and so are looking for someone who shares our vision of offering the best service possible to our clients and patients.

Working across both our sites - Kirk Sandall and Carcroft

  • 12-month fixed term contract, maternity cover
  • Full-time – 4 x 10‑hour shifts (with unpaid lunch break)
  • 1 in 6 Saturdays, 8 am – 12.30 pm
  • No OOH – VetsNow come into the practice, so our in‑patients don’t have to go anywhere, and we don’t require you to work bank holidays either.

Salary – up to £28,000 depending on experience

The Area: Our practice is only a few miles north of Doncaster with all the usual amenities easily accessible including a great shopping centre, eateries, a market, and Doncaster Racecourse. Conveniently situated near to the A1, the M18 and the M62 there are great transport links by car and Doncaster railway station has fast, frequent, mainline services to the rest of the UK.
