Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic equine vet to join our friendly team of 22 vets at Three Counties Equine Hospital. The role will be predominantly ambulatory, and we’re happy to support the areas of equine practice that you are interested in. There is the opportunity to follow up your own cases in the hospital, with plentiful support available. We welcome applicants with relevant experience, but enthusiasm, a strong team ethic and a willingness to learn are equally important to us.

About the Practice

We are a first opinion ambulatory practice and referral hospital situated on the Worcestershire, Gloucestershire & Herefordshire borders, where high clinical standards, excellent communication skills and teamwork are imperative. Day to day, the role involves a good mix of routine first opinion ambulatory work with the back-up of a hospital to carry out lameness and poor performance investigations, advanced procedures and medical work ups. You will be encouraged to develop your interests, with support from senior colleagues and diplomats in surgery and internal medicine. In addition, support by our team of brilliant nurses is available both in the hospital and on the road. We have a large array of state‑of‑art equipment including portable digital radiography and ultrasonography, endoscopy including dynamic endoscopy, gastroscopy, scintigraphy and MRI.
