We’re looking for an experienced Small Animal Vet to join our friendly, supportive team for maternity cover from December 2026.
Iveagh Vets is an independently owned mixed practice in Banbridge, around 30 minutes from Belfast and 90 minutes from Dublin. You’ll enjoy a varied caseload and the opportunity to work up medical and surgical cases to a high standard.
We’d love to hear from a vet with strong medical and surgical skills, excellent communication with clients and colleagues, and a commitment to providing excellent care.

What we offer

  • Four-day working week, 8.30 am–6.00 pm, plus every other Saturday morning, 8.30 am–1.00 pm. With option of flexible or part time hours.
  • Encouraged and funded CPD.
  • RCVS and VDS fees paid, plus AVSPNI membership.
  • Purpose-built facilities, including digital X-ray, ultrasound and an IDEXX in-house laboratory.
  • No out-of-hours requirement; MiNightVet provides our out-of-hours service.
