Castle Vets NI, based at the foot of the Mourne Mountains, is seeking a Director of Practice and Clinical Services to join its large, respected mixed practice team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who wants to combine hands-on clinical work with the chance to lead, influence and support a well-established practice.

You’ll spend around 80% of your time in practice, enjoying a varied caseload across consultations and surgery, while also mentoring colleagues, supporting new graduates and helping to shape a strong, collaborative clinical culture across two busy sites.

The practice is well equipped with digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound and multiparameter monitoring, all within a friendly and supportive team environment.

This full-time role (40 hours over 4 or 5 days) includes a 1 in 3 Saturday rota, with no out-of-hours or on-call commitments.

Part-time applications are also welcomed.

You will be an RCVS-registered vet with strong clinical experience and a passion for leadership, development and high standards of care.

Mixed practice experience is desirable.

In return, you’ll benefit from excellent development support through Inspiring Vet Care, including funded CPD, leadership training and clear progression opportunities, alongside a competitive benefits package and a truly beautiful place to live and work.
