A unique opportunity has arisen for a full-time Clinical Director at our first opinion practice located in the beautiful seaside town of St Andrews, Fife at Provost Veterinary Group. Lead, Innovate, Inspire – Join Us! As the Clinical Director, you will lead our dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Responsibilities: Oversee clinical operations and team management of the vets in practice. Implement best practices in veterinary medicine. Support the development of staff, coaching, and mentoring junior vets. Work alongside the Practice Manager on the day-to-day running of the clinic. Be involved in clinical benchmarking, financial performance, and decision-making for the business. Clinical Responsibilities: Working across our three branches between St Andrew’s, Ladybank & Tayport, on various 1st opinion caseloads including dentistry, soft tissue surgeries, elective surgeries, emergency surgeries as well as consults in practice. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career. Ideally working up to 40 hours per week across 5 days with 1:6 Saturdays and no OOH, we can also consider part-time hours and flexible working hours for this role. Why choose Provost? The practice is well-equipped with high standard facilities including 2 surgical theatres, dental suite, digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, Imotek ultrasound machine, and in-house lab. We have designated cat, dog, and isolation wards and we are proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic. Our current team consists of 6 veterinarians, 6 RVNs, and 7 support staff.
