Role Overview: We seek an enthusiastic, approachable, process‑obsessed Operations Manager to join our team. This non‑clinical role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our three business units: The Triage Team, Veteris‑Mobile, and Veteris Hospitals. Your mission is to enhance the efficiency of these units in order to deliver top‑notch care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Join the current Operation Manager to oversee a team of clinical and non-clinical staff members based in London.
- Ensure seamless operations to enhance efficiency and patient care.
- Manage flexible rosters and coordinate rota submission from different teams.
- Support and oversee the monthly payroll submission.
- Monitor time management & night staff commission.
- Handle recruitment, conduct interviews, and source candidates.
- Conduct one‑to‑one performance / mental health reviews.
- Participation in the integration of new business units.
- Serve as the interface between founders and overall Operations and units.
- Oversee account consolidation and liaise with the Triage team to address outstanding debts.
- Liaise with the inventory/stock manager and oversee maintenance tasks for stock, equipment, buildings and vehicles for Veteris‑Mobile and Veteris Hospitals.
- Handle customer complaints in conjunction with the clinical team at the group level.
- Seek opportunities for efficiency improvements and synergies between business units.
- Create or enhance documentation to enable each business unit to operate independently 24/7.
- Gradually help staff each business unit to operate independently 24/7.
- Lead on identifying, recording and managing non‑clinical risks.
- Relationship Building:
- Maintain strong and friendly relationships with referring practices.
- Collaborate closely with founders.
- As part of the Senior Leadership Team, provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and attend relevant meetings.
