The Vet Office is supporting the recruitment of an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon for a well‑established, purpose‑built practice in Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, forward‑thinking practice with a strong clinical caseload, modern facilities, and a clear vision for future growth, including the development of a regional 24‑hour centre.
The Practice
The successful candidate will join a highly experienced veterinary and nursing team in a modern, purpose‑built practice featuring:
- Five consulting rooms
- Separate dog and cat wards
- Fully equipped operating theatres
- In‑house laboratory, ECG, digital X‑ray, ultrasound, and dental equipment
The practice handles a busy and varied caseload and is actively involved in training and supporting both veterinary nurses and vets through structured graduate and development programmes.
The Role
This is a permanent, full‑time role, although part‑time applications are welcome and flexibility can be discussed. Typical responsibilities include:
- Delivering high‑quality clinical care in consultations and surgery
- Managing a varied small‑animal caseload to a high clinical standard
- Developing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients
- Working closely with a supportive, multidisciplinary team
- Sharing clinical knowledge and contributing to the development of colleagues
