The Opportunity
The Vet Office is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a modern, purpose-built veterinary hospital in Rotherham for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a supportive and progressive clinical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a vet with at least 3 years of small animal GP experience who enjoys a varied caseload, high clinical standards, and working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment equipped with advanced diagnostic technology.
About the Practice
You will join a large, modern veterinary hospital offering outstanding facilities, including:
- 9 consultation rooms
- 4 fully equipped operating theatres
- Dedicated dental suite
- Ultrasound suite
- Advanced 128-slice CT scanner
- Separate dog and cat wards
- Two preparation areas
- Highly experienced multidisciplinary team
- Strong focus on collaboration, mentoring and professional development
Many members of the team are currently studying towards postgraduate certificates, creating an excellent environment for continuous learning and career progression.
The Role
You will:
- Deliver high-quality first opinion veterinary care.
- Perform consultations, diagnostics and surgery.
- Promote preventative healthcare and client education.
- Work closely with an experienced nursing and veterinary team.
- Maintain excellent clinical standards and patient care.
- Contribute positively to a friendly and supportive team culture.
Candidate Requirements
- MRCVS registered (or eligible for registration).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in small animal general practice.
- Confident in routine medical and surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding veterinary care.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and development.
