A specialist referral clinic in The Netherlands is seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Radiologist to join their ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Residency Trained or Board-Certified Specialist in radiology (ECVDI or ACVR).
In this role, the radiologist will be responsible for overseeing and reporting on a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging modalities, including sonography, digital radiology, multidetector computed tomography, and high-field magnetic resonance imaging.
The hospital is located in the south-west of the Netherlands, offering convenient access to the coast, Rotterdam's airport and harbour, the Dutch countryside, and the historical cities of The Hague and Delft. The facility comprises an Emergency and Critical Care unit and a Referral Centre, supported by a dedicated 24-hour ICU team for emergency, critical care, and perioperative support.
The team is comprised of Diplomates in ECVS, ECVIM-CA, ECVIM cardiology, ECNV, ECVD, their residents, a board-eligible ECVECC resident, rotating interns, specialist interns, and senior veterinarians, all supported by dedicated veterinary technicians. The clinic prides itself on upholding the highest standards in veterinary medicine, demonstrating compassionate care for animals, and fostering excellent communication with referring veterinarians and pet owners.
The patient base consists of motivated and dedicated pet owners. The team is described as supportive and friendly, with a shared sense of humour and passion for their work.
The hospital is equipped with all modern diagnostic and treatment modalities expected of a leading centre, including a CT scanner (Canon Acquilion), a 1.5T MRI (Vantage Elan with Compressed speeder package), direct digital X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound with Doppler, various endoscopic facilities, well-equipped operating rooms, an in-house laboratory with blood (gas) analysis, blood coagulation, cytology capabilities, and quarantine units.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate veterinarian specializing in Diagnostic Imaging, preferably holding Diplomate or board-certification. They will be eager to deliver high-quality radiology services and thrive in a collaborative environment with other specialists and residents.
The successful applicant will contribute their knowledge, expertise, and insights in radiology to the team, providing exceptional care to patients and engaging in training, education, and collaboration.
