We are currently looking for an experienced Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead a modern and well-equipped veterinary practice in Lincoln. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior vet ready to step into a leadership role, combining clinical excellence with team management and strategic input.
The Role
- Leading and developing the veterinary team
- Driving high clinical standards and continuous improvement
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues in their professional development
- Managing a varied small animal caseload
- Ensuring gold-standard, evidence-based care
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the practice
Working pattern:
- 4 days per week
- 1 in 4 weekends
- No out-of-hours (OOH) on-call responsibility for any overnight inpatients
What We’re Looking For
- Strong clinical experience in small animal practice
- Previous leadership or senior vet experience (preferred)
- Confident decision-maker with excellent clinical judgement
- Passion for mentoring and team development
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to high standards of patient and client care
