We are currently looking for an experienced Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead a modern and well-equipped veterinary practice in Lincoln. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior vet ready to step into a leadership role, combining clinical excellence with team management and strategic input.

The Role

  • Leading and developing the veterinary team
  • Driving high clinical standards and continuous improvement
  • Mentoring and supporting colleagues in their professional development
  • Managing a varied small animal caseload
  • Ensuring gold-standard, evidence-based care
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of the practice

Working pattern:

  • 4 days per week
  • 1 in 4 weekends
  • No out-of-hours (OOH) on-call responsibility for any overnight inpatients

  • Strong clinical experience in small animal practice
  • Previous leadership or senior vet experience (preferred)
  • Confident decision-maker with excellent clinical judgement
