The Vet Office is recruiting on behalf of a busy, well-equipped 24-hour veterinary hospital in Dorchester, Dorset, which is seeking a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join its dedicated and supportive night team.

The Role

This is a permanent, part-time night position, offering an excellent opportunity to develop skills in medical and surgical nursing within a hospital setting.

  • Working pattern: 5 nights on / 9 nights off (rolling rota)
  • Sole nursing charge overnight
  • Working alongside a dedicated Night Veterinary Surgeon

The role provides significant autonomy and responsibility, making it ideal for a confident RVN looking to progress within emergency and hospital nursing.

The Hospital

This fully refurbished 24-hour hospital supports out-of-hours care, hospitalisation and case work-ups for surrounding practices as well as first-opinion work during the week. Facilities include:

  • CT suite
  • Two surgical theatres
  • Ultrasound
  • Endoscopy

The hospital manages a wide and complex caseload, offering excellent exposure to both first-opinion and advanced clinical care. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, including certificate holders and ECC professionals, within a welcoming and social team.
