VETERINARIAN (LARGE ANIMAL / MIXED WITH LA BIAS) – NEWRY AREA (UK)

From The Vet Office, we are currently recruiting for a Veterinarian (Large Animal or Mixed with a strong Large Animal bias) to join a well-established practice in the Newry area (UK). This is a great opportunity for a confident vet looking to work in a supportive environment with a varied caseload and strong focus on farm work.

Responsibilities
  • Large Animal or Mixed practice (with strong LA focus)
  • Farm visits and on-call duties
  • Opportunity to develop clinical skills in a progressive setting
  • Work as part of a collaborative and experienced team
Working Hours
  • Ideally full-time, but flexibility offered (e.g. 4-day week)
  • 1 in 4 rota (OOH included)
Salary

Up to £65,000 (approx. €75,000) depending on experience

Requirements
  • Experience in Large Animal or Mixed practice
  • Must be confident working OOH independently
  • Not suitable for new graduates
  • Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
