Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Climber at Veteran Tree Surgeons. The Climber will be responsible for performing a variety of tree care tasks, including climbing, pruning, and tree removal. Responsibilities also include ensuring the safety and proper use of climbing and rigging equipment, inspecting trees for potential hazards, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The role requires adherence to safety standards and collaboration with a team to deliver high-quality arborist services across various locations in West Lancashire and Merseyside.

Qualifications

  • Experience in tree climbing, pruning, tree removal, and aerial rescue
  • Proficiency in the use of climbing equipment, chainsaws, and rigging tools
  • Understanding of tree health, including the ability to inspect for structural issues or disease
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and risk assessment in arboricultural operations
  • Strong physical fitness and stamina to handle labor-intensive tasks
